Something isn’t sitting right in your gut.
You can manage through it, but you feel off.
It lingers and you are aware of it, but you can’t really figure out how to address it, how to pinpoint it, how to fix it.
It’s a feeling you can’t really put into words.
Maybe it's becoming part of your life and you've make adjustments to accommodate.
You adapt to find normalcy, but wonder if you are missing something.
You get signs that you may know what is causing your discomfort, but you pass them off as coincidence or maybe you choose to look pass them because it’s too much effort or too scary to address. You might take something to suppress the signs or symptoms so you don’t have to think about it.
But what if you listened.
What if you became ready for the wisdom.
What if you acted on the information.
What if this awareness changed the way you felt in your body, your mind your spirit.
Your gut is a barometer for awareness. It’s an intuitive information highway that can help you to maximize happiness and health in your life. Your gut contains memory from all of the experiences you’ve been through and provides information. Some research says that these memories, this energy is encoded in your gut. This is why your instinct is the most important life director.
Here are some signs you may not be listening your gut:
YOU CHOOSE TO STAY WHERE YOU ARE EVEN WHEN YOUR INSTINCT SAYS OTHERWISE.
Gut awareness presents itself as the flash of information in between your thoughts. It becomes challenging when we rely on logic when sometimes something may not make sense. Choose to trust in the flash before convincing yourself out of it.
YOU CHOOSE TO TRUST SOMEONE EVEN WHEN YOUR GUT INSTINCTS ARE TELLING YOU TO QUESTION THEM.
When you detect a red flag, act. It's your body telling you something is off.
Follow your instinct and calmly see where things are going wrong. Where there are inconsistencies to lead you to the truth of what this person is revealing to you. Words that are incongruent with actions will always be felt in the body first even if you haven't processed it yet with your mind.
YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A REASON NOT TO DO SOMETHING EVEN THOUGH IT FEELS RIGHT.
When your heart and head are in competition, your gut intuition can be harder to hear.
In those moments where obligation is telling you to do something, but your heart is reminding you of the self-sacrifice that will happen if you follow that path, come back to the feeling of what is resonating as right for you in your body. Normally, even if someone else is involved, and it's perceived as a negative for them, your gut-instinct is the truth of what's needed for both parties.
YOU ARE QUESTIONING EVERY DECISION YOU MAKE
If you're going through a time like this where nothing makes sense, it may just be the universe stepping in and offering some much needed change to get you back on the path that is for your highest good. During these times practice going back to small decisions that are gut-directed. When the whispers are heard, you will find your intuition becomes louder and it's easier to make decisions that are for you.
YOU AVOID TAKING ACTION EVEN THOUGH YOU KNOW IT’S NECESSARY
When the creature comforts take over and you just want to stick with what is familiar, but your soul is calling you somewhere else, this is where your gut will begin to scream at you. More than likely you are getting many signs that it's time to take action and move through something, but your resistance to it is may create short term soothing, but it's delaying something meant for you.
